Shiya Tong is a senior Industrial Design student currently studying at the Columbus College of Art and Design in Ohio. Having been born in New Brunswick, New Jersey and raised in Beijing, China inspires her multicultural approach to her work.

Shiya frequently works with wood, foam, and cardboard along with digital rendering. Shiya is very passionate about volunteerism. She has over ten years of experiences of working with advocacy organizations, and her dream is to use art and design as a tool to help bring people a happier life. Shiya is also fascinated by the exhibition and display design, and has been learning about this by participating in many exhibitions and shows for the past couple of years. She wants to continue exploring this field by attending to graduate school in New York City after graduating from college.
